In the 1980's SPF product diversification drive lead it to manufacture. - Packaging for Food, Catering, personal & hygiene care products Chemicals, lubricants, detergents - U & Z shape straws for Dairy and Juice - Precision engineering parts for Air conditioners, Refrigerators 1993 SPF expanded to incorporate lead technology, capacity knowledge, logistics to participate in the plastic requirements of an expanding customer base, tuned to their needs. 1997 SPF accredited with ISO-9002 certificate, upgraded to ISO-9001-2000 in 2003. Received Gold & Silver Award for SPF constant commitment to product quality. 1999 Our endeavor for exploring market expansion geared up SPF to manufacture car battery housing, crates, thin wall containers for dairy industries, paint pails, PET containers. 2000 SPF bought APC factory a pioneer in the PVC business and todate it plays an important role in in supplying the market with needed PVC compounds for various applications. 2004 Last quarter, SPF Jeddah factory saw light. A first multi level factory established in Jeddah to answer market needs, and enhance SPF capacity. 2007 Initiated work in SPF-Egypt at six October city - production is expected to start by mid 2010; Incorporated IML system Technology in Riyadh Factory. 2008 Preparing grounds to obtain ISO-14001 for Environmental Management System 2009 Increased IML system technology to eight lines which are fully operational. Gone through implementing ISO 14001 EMS, updated to ISO-9001:2008 & preparing grounds to implement ISO 22000 for the IML systems.
